Learn about our events

  • The Beginners Course is a hybrid course that provides opportunities to learn how to build a simulation scenario for new simulation facilitators. You will be given simulation resources, practice psychological safety, and learn valuable skills in scenario building, moulage, and debriefing. Over the course of six weeks, 4 modules will be completed prior to the 2 day in-person content.

  • The Advanced Simulation Facilitator Course builds upon the foundational concepts of simulation facilitation introduced in the Beginning Facilitator Course. Participants will practice debriefing skills, be introduced to tools for difficult scenarios and learners, resources for virtual and remote simulation learning and professional development. This course is offered in-person only, and will be completed in 1-day. This course is best suited for instructors who have some basic formal training within simulation education.
